What did we find?
NT Analyzer identified instances where non-public personal information—such as first and last name and descriptions of how the end-user interacted with the company’s products—were inadvertently shared with social media entities. Additionally, NT Analyzer found that precise geolocation was being collected and passed to third parties. This information provided a sufficient basis for third parties to identify account holders.
What was the solution?
We assisted our client in identifying which JavaScript tags needed to be removed from which web pages in order to achieve compliance and followed up by providing guidance on remediation.
